Description
"Gazing at the Chaos Storm spinning feverishly over Jorvik, a handsome circus master twirled his hat in his hands and dreamed of the magic he could conjure with a fraction of the Pandorian power.
He strolled over to his carousel. When his gaze fell upon the most beautiful horse, he felt a spark of dark inspiration.
He journeyed to Devil's Gap to siphon a measure of the potent energy. He returned to the horse, anointed her with the substance, and spoke a strange incantation into her ear.
There was a crack of splintering wood as the horse broke free from her imprisonment and ran from the carousel's platform. "Stop!" screamed Ydris. "You're mine! I gave you LIFE!"
"I am not his!" she thought. A tear rolled down her painted face as she continued to run.
Is she the magician's monster or a horse you will cherish?"
Unique Features
Color Changing
The Calliope is a magical horse with the special ability to change colors. When the player presses the "h" key or the magic horse icon on the horse's character sheet, the horse will change from its neutral colors to its natural (magic) colors and vice versa. The horse will not change colors during races or while the player is unmounted.
The Buck
Note: The horse must reach level 7 to perform this move.
The Bolt can perform a special move called the buck. The animation can be activated by pressing the spacebar, but only when standing still, otherwise the horse will jump instead of bucking.

Colors, Pricing, and Location
The Calliope is sold for 900 SC and can be purchased during the Halloween event in Galloper's Keep. It comes in one variation.
Note: This horse is released for limited periods of time and is not always in the game.
- Natural color: Cream paint-like coat with purple and pink carousel decorations with a bronze paint-like main and tail.
- Neutral color: Perlino

- The Calliope uses the G3 Mustang model.
- The Calliope was released as a pair with Bolt.
- The Calliope, like most other magic horses, cannot have its hairstyle changed.
- While the Calliope is described as female within the in-game description, players can still choose to label the horse as a gelding or a stallion in the customization settings.
- A calliope is a musical instrument often associated with circus music that is played with a keyboard and produces sound through whistles.[4][5] Its namesake is the Greek mythological muse of epic poetry of the same name.[6]
- The Calliope is one of the only magic horses released since 2020 that does not have its own matching companion pet.
