Cod Point Stables

Cod Point Stables in The Summer Rider.

Cod Point Stables in on an island at the most northern part of the Jorvik map in Star Stable: The Summer Rider. There is a stable and save-point at the settlement, with an additional house and two blue small outhouses. There is also a Notice Board where the player can do Stable chores, which reward Stable Points (SP). Inside the stable are five horses, available for purchase with SP.

The stable have five horses in total, each in its own stall. All horses found here are listed below:

• American Paint Horse - Tobiano

"The American Paint Horse is said to stem from the horses that the Spanish explorer Cortez brought with him when he sailed to North America. They were popular with many of the Native American tribes. They are dependable and very versatile, and come in three coat patterns: overo, tobiano, and tovero. The Tobiano pattern has dark legs, and white doesn't usually cross the back."

• American Standardbred

"There is nothing standard about the American Standardbred, other than its standard being outstanding when it comes to harness racing. They are friendly and quick learners with good hooves and, as the name suggests, they come from North America."

• Bashkir Curly

"The Bashkir Curly comes from the Ural Mountains in Asia. It is a tough breed, hardened by the conditions of its native area, but it is still very easy to work with. Bakshir Curlies are extremely hardy and are great for covering long distances even in the worst possible weather. They are also very resilient to cold."

• Criollo

"The Criollo is the result of careful breeding by the Argentinian gauchos and has remarkable stamina. It is known as one of the world's toughest breeds and bonds closely with its rider, making it almost impossible for another person to ride the horse once it has been bonded. It is extremely courageous and completely fearless."

• Morgan

"The Morgan was once considered the ideal horse for the United States Calvary. It is named after the owner of the first known horse in the line, a man by the name of Justin Morgan. Morgan bloodlines have played a part in the development of many of the American breeds, for instance the American Saddlebred and the Tennessee Walking Horse."

Geography

Cod Point Stables is the northern-most settlement and stable at the Jorvik map in The Summer Rider. Its on its own small island, accessible by a bridge, which is where Cod Point Paddock can be found. Further along the road down north leads to the Ghost House managed by Mr. Wetton. The island where the stables can be found has tough terrain, consisting of two tiers, with a field on the first and the stables on the highest. The vegetation at the island consists of leafy-trees and shrubbery, with large stone formations as well.
