Dark Core's Oil Rig

The Dark Core Oil Rig was Dark Core's ocean headquarters. Though it looked like an oil rig, this was later revealed to be a ruse - instead it was used for Dark Core's ulterior motives to release Garnok. It also served as a structure that held a large portal, which was connected to Pandoria.

It could only be reached from Goldenhills Valley through the Helmsman.

Overview

The rig was under consistent surveillance by Dark Core goons and was often in the midst of a stormy weather.

The player was often tasked to travel to the oil rig on spy missions after Justin Moorland briefly joined Dark Core. Later in the story, the player travels there for the last time to rescue Justin along with Lisa, Alex, and Linda.

When Anne von Blyssen and the player disposed of unregulated Drakonium through a portal, the portal somehow opened up above the oil rig, causing the highly dangerous substance to fall on it. The oil rig was destroyed, and collapsed into the water.
