| April 10, 2013 | The three variations of the G1 ETB are added to the game. Each variation has a different price; the Black is sold for 890 SC, the Black Liver Chestnut is sold for 590 SC, and the Dapple Brown is sold for 390 SC.[2] |
| October 22, 2015 | A trailer for the G1 ETB is dropped on SSO's YouTube channel.[3] |
| July 12, 2017 | The G1 model of ETB is updated to the G1.5 model.[4] |
| June 3, 2020 | The G1.5 ETB's prices are all reduced to 280 SC.[5] |
| May 22, 2024 | Star Stable announces the generation 1.5 ETB will be removed from the game on June 19, 2024. Players who own this horse will be able to keep them, but the model will not receive any more updates or bug/glitch fixes after its removal. [6] |

- The SSO English Thoroughbred was the first breed to be updated in every generation (including 1.5).
- The SSO Gen 1/1.5 English Thoroughbreds share the same model with the 1/1.5 version of the Jorvik Warmblood.
- The SSO Gen 1/1.5 Dapple Brown, and Black Liver Chestnut, share their skins with Gen 1/1.5 Danish Warmbloods of the same name.
