Starshine Legacy

Within the Starshine legacy series, Starshine, Lisa's horse, is referred to as a "Star Horse", a mythical breed known for their white coats, blue manes, and blue markings. In later comics and expansions of the Star Stable and Starshine Legacy lore, the name was changed to "Starbreed" but retained the same description as a mythical white and blue horse. It is only in the Star Stable Online universe where the name has been reinvented to describe all manners and breeds of horses with the ability to become a Soul Rider's companion.

Description

There are many breeds of horses all around the world, but none is as unique as the wild horses of Jorvik. For as long as anyone can remember, the white horses have been living on the island. These proud, almost untam(e)able horses are known for their light blue markings and their blu(e)ish manes.

There is a legend in Jorvik that these great horses started to appear after the great meteor shower outside of Jorvik, hundreds of years ago. The legend says that this supernatural phenomenon somehow changed the Jorvik wild horses and infused them with magical abilities. - Starshine Legacy Comic Series
