Patience is a very important trait when you're playing Star Stable!

You do not get the jumping quest when you turn a certain level. You must be far enough into story quests that you recieve a quest from Justin Moorland, who will be at Steve's Farm near Silverglade Village. The quest is called "An Obstacle to Build" which comes after you help Harold the baker get some flour from Barney.
