Fina is a short variant of the name Serafina, which is the Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Polish form of Seraphina. It is the feminine form of the Late Latin name Seraphinus, derived from the biblical word seraphim which was Hebrew in origin and meant "fiery ones".
