Ganymede was Anne's temporary replacement horse as she was still waiting for the reincarnation of Concorde to grow older for her to be ridden.

In the game, Anne appeared to be quite harsh on Ganymede, calling him a 'coward' and 'hopeless' for not performing well. Anne is known to be the Dressage Champion of the group, so her frustration is understandable.

- There's a possibility that he was named after a moon called 'Ganymede', resembling either his coat color or dapples.
