Gretchen is a tourist from Germany. She is visiting Jorvik with her parents, Gunther and Helga.
Star Stable Online
Gretchen visits Jorvik with her family, looking to buy a summerhouse for their future visits. The family buys a cottage from Mr. Kembell, but they get scammed and get the burned-down house in Hollow Woods instead of the cottage they were promised. The family reaches out to the player for help, and together they manage to drive Mr. Kembell off. The family then moves into Mr. Kembell's cottage in Firgrove.

- In all language versions, Gretchen and her family are Germans, but in the German version of Star Stable Online they're Swedish.
- Gretchen's spy code name is Y9.
