Imane Highcantle is the editor-in-chief of the Jorvik Gazette in Jarlaheim.[2] She has a black rabicano Arabian horse named Sahara.
Appearance
Imane wears an orange vest over a white shirt, with a nametag pinned to it. She also wears black jeans, dark brown boots, round golden glasses on her head, and small star earrings.

Etymology
Imane is an Arabic name meaning "faith," a variation of the name Iman.[3] A cantle is the back of a western saddle,[4] thus her last name likely refers to a high saddle cantle.

- The Highcantle family was historically horseback mail deliverers.
- Imane's grandparents emigrated from Morocco to Jorvik.[1]
