Picnics

Picnics are gatherings where the player and any other friends can sit and relax at one of the various picnic places around Jorvik.

Appearance

Picnics consist of a red checkered blanket laid over the grass, a few plates and glasses, and a basket of a few simple food items (bread, cake, fruits etc). If the player sits down at a picnic, a message with be displayed at the top of their screen:

"You are at a picnic with your friends..."

There will also be an option to Leave Picnic, appearing directly above the display message.

Starting a Picnic

In order to start a picnic, the player must purchase a picnic basket, found at stores that sell horse foods. The player can then drag the basket from their inventory and drop it at a sign with a picnic basket mark to start the picnic.

• Picnics cost around 360 Jorvik Shillings.
• Picnics are a once use item.
