The Rescue Ranch is a part of South Hoof Farm on South Hoof Peninsula. Hugh Shepard lives here and will give quests in this area. The player will eventually be able to have their Home Stable at the ranch. In the main quest line in this area, the player assists Hugh in saving a Welsh Pony foal, Balder.

Quest Overview
Helping the foal will involve various daily tasks which can be accessed from the notice board. This includes:
- Feeding the foal
- Watering the foal
- Washing the foal
- Grooming the foal
- Mucking out the paddock
- Exercising the foal
After 9 days of care, the foal will be ready to return to its mother. Upon completion, Hugh will reward the player with a total of 650 XP (500XP for releasing the foal and 150XP for raising the Rescue Ranch flag).
Trivia
- The foal care daily tasks are a mechanic unique to this quest line, and cannot be repeated with other foals currently.
