Rescue Ranch

Spoiler warning! This article contains details about a questline.

The Rescue Ranch is a part of South Hoof Farm in South Hoof Peninsula. Hugh Shepard resides here and offers quests to first repair the area then to operate the rescue. Once the ranch is repaired, the player can set their Home Stable at South Hoof Stables. In the quests for the ranch, the player assists Hugh in saving a Welsh Pony foal, Balder.

Quest Overview

Helping the foal will involve various daily tasks which can be accessed from the notice board. This includes:

• Feeding the foal
• Watering the foal
• Washing the foal
• Grooming the foal
• Mucking out the paddock
• Exercising the foal

After 9 days of care, the foal will be ready to return to its mother. Upon completion, Hugh will reward the player with a total of 650 XP (500XP for releasing the foal and 150XP for raising the Rescue Ranch flag).

Trivia

• The foal care daily tasks are a mechanic unique to this quest line, and cannot be repeated with other foals currently.
