Beast repellent
Beast repellent is an event item used during the Camp Western Event.

Appearance
Beast repellent appears inside and outside the player's inventory as a black spray bottle, with an icon of a stylized image of a wolf crossed out in red on the bottle's base. It is a stackable object, meaning players can have more than one spray take up a single slot in their inventory.
When outside the player's inventory, the key is surrounded by a glow and yellow sparkles.
Function
Beast repellent works by immediately stopping a beast from chasing a player. If the repellent is in the player's inventory, and a wolf, bear, or bull catches the player, the spray will automatically be used to scare the beast away by creating a cloud of yellow mist around the player.
The beast repellent is a single use item. Once the spray is used it will disappear from the player's inventory. Additionally, the spray only works on one beast each, thus if the player is being chased and manages to get caught by more than one animal, multiple sprays will be used up.
If the player does not have any beast repellent and gets caught by a predator, they will be immediately transported back to Starshine Ranch.
How to obtain
Beast repellent is obtained during Camp western in multiple ways. They can be found floating around the Firgrove region of Jorvik, by opening Renegade chests, and by purchasing them from Gary's Goods shop for 15 gold nuggets.
Picking up a beast repellent around Firgrove will award the player with 50 horse XP for the horse they are currently riding.
Should a player want to sell their beast repellent rather than trade them into Gary, they can sell it for 1 Jorvik Shilling each.
