Johnny Black is a dressage trainer who is stationed by the Rockville Paddock in Star Stable: The Spring Rider.

Johnny Black has a similar appearance as his icon, with brown hair. His cap is brown instead, still with a white front. His shirt is also checkered with white and yellow. His overalls are blue jeans and shoes brown-red with white details.

Quests
Jordan Jet, the stable warden of Rockville Stables, introduces the player to Johnny Black to test out the tracks and exercises prepared for the summer camp. To this, Johnny says he will treat the player as a student of his. He explains the basics behind dressage and lets the player to participate in his dressage exercise 'Rockville Dressage'. To continue with the testing, Johnny introduces the player to Lisa as he believes she has a track good for the player's training.
