Meander Stables
The Meander stable is owned and driven by Eric Lowe in Star Stable: The Winter Rider. When beginning a new game, this is where the player has the introduction with Eric Lowe in how the game works and how to ride a horse. He also has his own endurance track 'Meander Trail'. The player is also able to earn Stable Points (SP) through stable chores at the Notice Board.

Stable
The stable has five boxes, each with one horse available for purchase:
"The Cleveland Bay is Britain's oldest horse breed, tracking its pedigree back through history all the way to the Middle Ages. It is a sensible and highly intelligent horse and is perfect for show jumping!"
Level 1
Price: 250 SP
"The Nonius is a persistent and willing horse developed by Hungarian horse breeders during the 1800's. The breeding resulted in a powerful all-round riding horse that can be used for all types of English riding disciplines. It has a smooth stride and is normally chestnut or black."
Level 3
Price: 650 SP
"The Australian Stock Horse was used with much success in World War I by the Australian Light Horse Regiments. The horse has amazing stamina and is extremely courageous. It is a very useful all-round horse and can be used in anything from working cattle to endurance, as well as polo and show jumping."
Level 6
Price: 1500 SP
"The Arabian is one of the world's most well-known horse breeds. It is spirited and kind and thought to be highly intelligent. The breeding of the Arabian is attributed to Bedouin tribesman and they considered their horse friends to be a gift from god. They are muscular, with small, tough hooves."
Level 8
Price: 2100 SP
"The Salernitano is an intelligent and spirited horse from Italy. It is especially well-known for its jumping ability and was once a popular horse for the Italian army. It has well-formed legs, and great shoulders."

Chores at Meander Stables
The chores can be unlocked through Eric Lowe and accessed through the Notice Board in front of the stable next to Eric. These chores can be done several times throughout a day and rewards the same amount of SP each time.

Geography
The stable is located in the middle of the map in Jorvik available in The Winter Rider. There is a river going east to west through the map, and the stable can be found on the south side of the river. The Meander Jumping Ring managed by Jessica can be found next to the stable west, and a cross-country track by Alex can be found east. On the other side of the river, going north, the Meander Village is located with a shop. The stable is right next to a mountain range, but have a variety of both leafy- and evergreen-trees, as well as shrubbery, surrounding it. The further up the mountain, the more the evergreens take over. The stable includes a save-point, well, Notice Board and a roofed, but open, storage for hay, used both by Alex and Jessica.
