"Sir" is an honorific for an important or high-ranking man. Tarik is an Arabic name which means "nocturnal visitor," "one who knocks at the door," or "one that passes by," and Modde is a surname which means "brave."

• Sir Tarik Modde seems distressed by the state of the racetrack while it is unfinished.
• He is not introduced in the quest line in which the track is repaired, nor is he seen helping to build the racetrack.
• He has been knighted, which explains why he is addressed by "sir."

• In a game of horseshoe throwing, one of his throws left a chip that can still be seen to this day on the statue of Aideen in Aideen's Plaza.
