The Sentinel Tree is a Life Warden that takes the form of a large, Sequoia tree which can be found in between Tadpole Fens and Tailtop Village in inner Wildwoods. It appears to be connected to the mystical stag Lignos and is worshipped and protected by all three herds (Mystics, Foresters and Warriors) that live there. It encompasses a large area including the body of water that is found just north of Wise Withers Lake. The Sentinel Tree's thick brown roots are characterised by a glowing purple streaks. The area is covered in purple grass, pinkish purple glowing crystals and mushrooms, brambles, rocks and a few fir trees.

Trivia

• The Sentinel Tree's roots can be found in several different locations around inner Wildwoods and make up the bridges that lead to it at Hartwood Shore.
• As the player approaches the area, a blue misty filter overlays the screen.
• The crystals surround the Sentinel Tree resemble the crystals found in Pandoria, therefore, there is a possibility that the tree is connected to Pandoria.
  • The way is through great effort and sacrifice, the tree found a way to use Pandoria's magic to enhance nature.
• The Sentinel Tree is the only strong mutual connection that unite the horse herds together despite separating in terms of lifestyle, long ago.
