The big bull is part of the introductory side quests available during the Camp Western event in Star Stable Online. In this quest, Josh teaches the player about how to use beast repellent.

To activate this quest, the player must:

1. Have access to the Starshine Ranch
2. Have completed the The Chore Board quest.

Step 1

Lisa, Carl and Josh will be standing in front of the covered wagon next to the arena. Speak with Josh to activate the quest.

Step 2

Attempt to fetch the hat the bull is circling. He will immediately chase and catch you when you collect the hat. This is intentional, and you will be immediately transported to the vet station. Make your way back to Josh.

That bull will not think twice about ramming you and your horse, you gotta be careful around it.

I certainly didn't expect you to jump right into it. Do you always do whatever someone asks you to do?

Oh, don't worry, the product isn't harmful to animals. It just smells bad. Like, really really BAD.

I gave you some, so go ahead and try to get the hat now.

Step 4

Attempt to fetch the hat the bull is circling again. He will immediately chase you but when he tries to catch you, a yellow spray will appear and the bull will disappear. Speak with Josh after the bull is repelled to complete the quest.
