Monologues
Up, Up and Across
Monologue:
If you want to compete in eventing, there are many important elements to practice. One of them is jumping. I suggest that we start with some easy obstacles. When you do a real cross-country race the obstacles will be much less forgiving! Remember, you need to bring your horse up to at least a canter to jump and you must clear the obstacles from the right direction. The clock doesn’t stop until you cross the finish line after having taken all the obstacles. Good luck, and don’t forget to let me know when you’re done!
Objective:
You must complete Linda’s jumping exercise in the jumping ring. Let Linda know when you’re done.
Finished Race:
Well done! Please let me know when you’re ready to work some more on perfecting your horse’s jumping skills. I’ll be here waiting for you!

Jumping Gold Medal

Finished Race:
Very impressive! If the Claymore challenge was a show jumping competition you would definitely have a shot at a place in the finals, but it’s not. It’s all about eventing - endurance and cross-country. There’s no dressage. Well, here’s your gold medal. Congratulations! And if you feel like training with your horse, you’re always welcome here.
