Will o' wisp
Will o' wisps, often shortened to wisps, are found throughout the Hollow Woods as part of the Druidism collection quests in Star Stable Online. They are disguised as fireflies until the player goes near them, when they will reveal themselves as wisps and fly off. If the player follows them to their hiding place, clicking them will reward the player with a large amount of Light.
Rewards
Wisps are first unlocked through the "Secret to spotting Will-o'-the-wisps" node in the Path of Whimsy. Later nodes will give the player Horse XP when they are collected and increase the Light rewarded per wisp. There are additional nodes that can be unlocked to increase the frequency of finding wisps, and also give them a chance to reward the player with Garden Powder.

Trivia
- Will o' wisps are common mythological creature/phenomenon in European folklore. They are described as atmospheric ghost lights that travelers may see at night.[1] There are also equivalent folkloric creatures throughout the world.
- The wisps' hiding places are typically inside tree stumps and small hollows beneath tree roots.
