The Baroness
Annabelle Silverglade, more commonly known as The Baroness, is the owner of Silverglade Manor, Silverglade Vineyard, Silverglade Equestrian Center as well as Silverglade Castle. She is the mother of Thomas Moorland, the owner of Moorland Stables, and the grandmother Justin Moorland. Annabelle had a brief marriage to Mr. Sands, the father of Thomas.
Appearance
Annabelle appears as a thin elderly woman with white hair, blue eyes and a stoic yet graceful demeanor. Before her character update, she was wearing a pale lilac gown in the style of the early 20th century. The collar and the bow around her waist where a rich eggplant shade, and a light violet shade adorns the intricate needlework and the last three ruffles of her skirt. Her puffy, double ruffled sleeves, ended with white pleated cuffs, and she wore a slightly raised puffy collar around her neck held together by a gold pendant. Her hair was parted in the middle and held up in a bun by two pink chopsticks and a pink barrette on left.

Baroness Annabelle Silverglade is the matriarch of the Silverglades, one of the most prestigious families in all of Jorvik! She owns Silverglade Manor, the surrounding vineyards, the nearby equestrian center and even Silverglade Castle. Imagine, owning your own castle! Even though she can't ride anymore, horses are still her greatest passion. Since her husband passed away, her primary companion is her trusty butler. She has several adult children, but none of them seem to share the Baroness' love of horses. How sad that her greatest passion is something she can't share with her family.
While investigating the Silverglade family history, Linda discovered a secret history that the Baroness had tried to erase. When she was young, Annabelle Silverglade had a brief marriage to someone named "John Sandman". Shortly after their marriage ended, she had a child that she gave up for adoption. That child? Her secret first son is none other than Thomas Moorland! It turns out the Baroness is the one who has been sending anonymous donations to help keep Moorland Stables afloat over the years. The Baroness had a child who loves horses as much as she does after all! As for "John Sandman", it looks like it was Mr. Sands, enemy of the Soul Riders. Could the two of them really have been in love?
Etymology
The Name Annabelle can be either a variant of Annabel or as a combination of Anna and Belle.

- Anne is a variant of the Hebrew name חַנָּה (Channah) meaning "favour, grace", and Belle is either the short form of Isabella which can be traced back to the Hebrew name אֱלִישֶׁבַע ('Elisheva') meaning "my God is an oath" or names ending in belle or the French word belle meaning "beautiful".
- Bringing the name Anna and Belle together could either mean "Beautiful favor and grace" or "favor and grace my god is an oath"
