Gold nuggets are an event item available during the Camp Western Event.

Appearance
Gold nuggets appear in the player's inventory as a single hexagonal shaped piece of yellow gold. It is a stackable object, meaning players can have more than one nugget take up a single slot in their inventory.
When outside the player's inventory, gold nuggets appear as a cluster of three uniquely shaped nuggets of glowing yellow gold surrounded by sparkles yellow sparkles.
Function
The pieces are one of two main trading currencies for the event. They can be traded in to Gary Goldtooth in exchange for Summer tokens, Beast repellants, Herding lures, Renegade keys, and certain event exclusive pets.
Should a player want to sell their gold nuggets rather than trade them into Gary, they can sell their gold for 1 Jorvik Shilling each.
How to Obtain
Gold nuggets are obtained during Camp western in multiple ways. They can be found floating around the Firgrove region of Jorvik, by opening Renegade chests, and by mining gold nodes.
Picking up a gold nugget will award the player with two horse XP for the horse they are currently riding.
