Star Stable

Star Stable: The Autumn Rider

In Star Stable: The Autumn Rider, the village of Hillcrest was built on top of a mountain and consists of six white houses facing each other. Camilla Turnstone researches different types of grass in her house next to the stable, and is willing to teach the player. There is a notice board in the middle of the village with stable chores available that rewards Stable Points (SP) for the stable, where there are four horses available for purchase. Hillcrest also have a shop where they sell different types of equipment and feed. There is also place to rest in one of the first houses on the right at the southern entrance.

Hillcrest Stable

The stable consists of four open boxes and is operated by Monica. The stable has four different horse breeds for sale:

• Furioso

"The Furioso is a quality riding horse bred in Hungary in the 19th century. It has enormous stamina, which in combination with its good jumping ability makes it an excellent choice for cross-country racing."

• Mangalarga Marchador

"The Mangalarga Marchador is the national horse of Brazil and moves with the smoothness of a carnival dancer and the technique of a Brazilian soccer player. It originates from horses first brought to Brazil by the Conquistadors, but can now be found all over the world. It is known for its stamina."

• Oldenburg

"The Oldenburg was founded in Germany in the 1600's. Initially intended as an elegant carriage horse, it has since become a horse that’s frequently featured in international competitions."

• Selle Français

"The Selle Selle Français is a warmblood that comes from France. It is an elegant horse with a strong back that excels in everything, thanks to the fact that it isn't as heavy as many other warmbloods."

Chores at Hillcrest Stable

The chores can be found at the notice board in the middle of Hillcrest. These can be done however many times the player would like to do them per day.

Geography

Hillcrest can be found on the western side of the map in the middle of the continent. It was built on top a mountain with two entrances, one from the south and the other from the east next to the shop. The cross-country track Anne takes care of is up north-east from Hillcrest, and the Old Windmill with Lisa is a bit down south. Jorvik Stables is on the north-west from Hillcrest. The village has evergreen trees and little shrubbery. The houses are all wooden and white with red roofs, most of them have an enclosure with white or brown picket fencing.
