The Oldenburg is a horse breed available in Star Stable: The Autumn Rider and, formerly, Star Stable Online.

Note: This horse is no longer available for purchase in SSO.

Timeline

Date Development
April 2, 2013 The G1 Oldenburg was announced to be released in the near future on SSO's news page.[1]
May 15, 2013 Three variations of the G1 Oldenburg are added to the game. Each variation has a different price; the Black and Wild Bay are sold for 690 SC, and the Dapple Grey is sold for 890 SC.[2]
August 27, 2015 A trailer of the G1 Oldenburg is posted to SSO's YouTube Channel.[3]
July 12, 2017 The G1 Oldenburg model is updated to the G1.5 model.[4]
June 3, 2020 The G1.5 Oldenburg has all of its coat prices reduced to 690 SC.[5]
February 1, 2023 Star Stable announces that the G1.5 Oldenburg will be removed from the game on March 1, 2023. Players who own this horse will be able to keep them, but the model will not receive any more updates or bug/glitch fixes after its removal. They're price is permanently reduced to 300 star coins.[6]
March 1, 2023 The G1.5 Oldenburgs are permanently removed from the game.

Description

"The Oldenburg was bred in Germany during the 17th Century. Originally intended as an elegant carriage horse, it has since become a horse that’s frequently featured in international competitions."

Colors, Pricing, and Location

Generation 1/1.5 Oldenburgs are no longer available for purchase.The Oldenburg was sold for 300 SC. All three variations could be found at Ferdinand's Horse Market.

Trivia

  • The Oldenburg shared its model with the other horses using the G1/1.5 model of the Jorvik Warmblood.
