The Tenebri is a magical horse breed that is available in Star Stable Online.

The contest can have multiple winners, and the winning designs will be used to create horses for the Rainbow Festival in-game.[1] |

Description
"The rainbows of Jorvik are special. More than a trick of the weather, they are refined and guided by two special spirits of the land: Prisma and Tenebri. Living light in the form of horses, these incredibly rare creatures live to inspire all they encounter—and if they can't be everywhere, at least their rainbows can!
Of the two, Tenebri is the quietest, a creature of haunting beauty and distant wisdom. Tenebri adores creative riders who temper their imaginations with forethought and grace. This horse delights in traveling incognito as a magnificent Jorvik Wild Horse, revealing his true coat of swirling colors only to those deemed most worthy.

Unique Features
Color Changing
The Tenebri is a magical horse with the special ability to change colors. When the player presses the "h" key or the magic horse icon on the horse's character sheet, the horse will change from its neutral colors to its natural (magic) colors and vice versa. The horse will not change colors during races or while the player is unmounted.
The Mezair
Note: The horse must reach level 7 to perform this gait.
While most breeds in SSO only have five gaits, the Tenebri has six. This special gait is called the "Mezair," a gait derived from the Airs Above Ground move by the same name. To make your horse do the Mezair, the horse must be walking. The player then must hold down the Shift key and then simultaneously hit either the up arrow or the 'w' key. The Tenebri will then begin to perform the special gait. During the Mezair, the horse cannot move to a faster gait or jump. To stop the Mezair, simply slow your horse down like you would with any other.
The Lay Down
Note: The horse must reach level 7 to perform this move.
The Tenebri can perform a special move called the Lay Down. The animation can be activated by pressing the spacebar, but only when standing still, otherwise the horse will jump instead of performing the move.
Feathers
The Tenebri sports moderate feathering on its legs. This long hair covering the horses' cannon and fetlock means that the Tenebri cannot wear leg wraps or other leg coverings in the game.
Colors, Pricing, and Location
The Tenebri is sold for 975 SC and can be purchased during the Rainbow Festival in the Cloud Kingdom. It comes in one variation.
Note: This horse is released for limited periods of time and is not always in the game.
- Natural color: Purple body with rainbow colored-feather designs on its body and pastel rainbow mane and tail.
- Neutral color: Dark Silver Bay

- The Tenebri uses the Jorvik Wild Horse model.
- The Tenebri was released as a pair with Prisma.
- The Tenebri, like most other Magic Horses, cannot have its hairstyle changed.
- The name Tenebri appears to be a form of the Latin word Tenebra meaning "darkness, shadow, gloom, or obscurity" It can also be used to denote "ignorance" or "concealment". [9]
